Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous concrete finishing or construction experience preferred.

• Able to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive movements.

CONCRETE FINISHER

Location: Browntown, Wisconsin

Position: Concrete Finisher

Employment Type: Full-Time

Wage: $20/hour

Sedona Staffing is seeking a dependable, hardworking Concrete Finisher to join our construction and production team in Browntown, WI. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for placing, leveling, smoothing, finishing, and repairing concrete and precast concrete products while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Place, spread, screed, and finish concrete according to project specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power finishing equipment, including trowels, floats, screeds, and vibrators.
• Finish concrete surfaces to the required texture, appearance, elevation, and tolerances.
• Monitor concrete during placement and finishing to ensure proper consistency and quality.
• Assist with setting, stripping, and maintaining concrete forms.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform patching, grinding, rubbing, and other corrective work on concrete surfaces.
• Read and follow construction drawings, specifications, measurements, and instructions.
• Assist with precast concrete production and other general construction duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Inspect finished work for quality and identify defects or areas requiring correction.
• Work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, equipment operators, and other trades.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and proper PPE procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous concrete finishing or construction experience preferred.
• Experience with concrete tools and finishing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read measurements and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work outdoors and/or in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a crew.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow established procedures.
