Job summary

Lavoro USA is seeking two concrete finishers for the 2026 season in Sisseton, SD. You will finish concrete surfaces for residential and commercial projects and contribute to high-quality workmanship on site.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience, knowledge of finishing techniques, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Valid transportation to jobs is required and stamped or decorative concrete experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience finishing concrete surfaces on residential or commercial projects (1+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of finishing techniques and tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Physically able to lift heavy materials and stand long hours.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools.
• Smooth and finish surfaces with trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers.
• Apply curing or sealing compounds.
• Read and follow project plans and specifications.
• Set forms, check grades, and ensure proper thickness.
• Repair surface imperfections and perform touch-ups.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Collaborate with crew to meet project deadlines.

We function as a construction recruiting partner to several companies in the Midwest. We do so with Reliability, Faith, and integrity, with Faith at the center of it all.

Our partner is a small successful Concrete Construction Company in Sisseton, SD. They are a family-owned company specializing in high-quality concrete projects.They are seeking two Finishers to join the 2026 Construction Season, starting in February.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience finishing concrete surfaces on residential and/or commercial projects and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools

• Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers

• Apply curing or sealing compounds

• Read and follow project plans and specifications

• Set forms, check grades, and ensure proper concrete thickness

• Repair surface imperfections and perform touch‑ups

• Maintain a clean and safe job site

• Work closely with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a concrete finisher (1+ years preferred)

• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and tools

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods

• Reliable transportation to job sites

• Strong attention to detail and work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with stamped or decorative concrete

• Experience in commercial concrete projects

• Ability to read blueprints (preferred but not required)

• OSHA certification (not required)
