Job summary

FINFROCK is seeking a Precast Drafting Project Lead to join our Central Florida Headquarters in Orlando. You will guide project management for a diverse range of precast projects, coordinating between trades, designers, and departments to optimize schedules and accuracy.

You will create CAD 3D models in Revit, develop advanced BOMs for embeds, and mentor upcoming precast drafters while ensuring shop tickets and erection drawings meet project timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years leading or assisting projects as a lead.
Two-year degree in Design/Drafting or 5 years of drafting experience.
Proficient in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
Strong communication and delegation skills; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

Coordinate precast with trades, designers, and departments to improve project efficiency.
Delegate tasks to team to meet schedules.
Maintain workload and schedule for precast components.
Create CAD 3D models in Revit.
Create advanced BOMs for embeds.
Mentor upcoming Project Leads (Precast Drafters).
Review precast shop tickets.
Produce precast erection shop drawings.
