Job summary

Finfrock Industries Inc. is seeking a Precast Drafter in Orlando to create detailed 3D models of precast components using SolidWorks and develop fabrication documentation.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and production teams to ensure accurate, constructible designs throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a two-year degree in Design/Drafting or equivalent experience, solid SolidWorks skills, and the ability to multitask across concurrent projects while maintaining

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Design/Drafting or two years of Design/Drafting experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of precast concrete components using SolidWorks.
• Develop construction drawings, piece tickets, and fabrication documentation for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure accurate and constructible designs.
• Collaborate with internal drafting, engineering, and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Perform quality control checks on your own work and assist with peer reviews to maintain drafting standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Communicate project updates, design changes, and technical information clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

• You have experience with SolidWorks.
• You are a multi-tasker who can work multiple projects concurrently.
• You have a general knowledge of building construction.
• You have great communication skills.
• You want to be in Central Florida and are willing to relocate on your own if you don’t live here already.
