Job summary

Bannock County seeks an experienced Administrative Specialist to support the Pre-Trial Release program under the Adult Probation & Pretrial Director. You will handle court- and compliance-related duties, maintain files, run NCIC checks, and assist with text reminders and data entry in Odyssey.

The role requires strong organization, confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure in a public office environment in Idaho. High school diploma required; preferred related degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced coursework preferred.
• Two to three years of court-related experience or equivalent training.
• Familiarity with Public Safety Assessment and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Compile and report criminal history for arraignments; input into Public Safety Assessment.
• Attend daily court sessions and assist with pretrial release sign-ups.
• Maintain caseloads and provide program information to defendants.
• Open and maintain defendant files and ensure compliance requirements.
• Enroll defendants in text reminder system and prepare noncompliance affidavits.
• Maintain records, data, and reports; ensure confidentiality.
