Job summary

Olympia Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Pre-Surgical Screening team in Washington. This full-time role involves triaging patients, clearing them for surgery, and coordinating anesthesia evaluations.

Training occurs in person in Centralia or Olympia, with remote work after training and residency in WA. Qualified candidates will be WA-licensed LPNs with at least one year of clinical nursing experience and ability to obtain BLS if needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of clinical nursing experience.

Location: Remote after training. Training will take place in-person at either our Centralia or Olympia, WA surgery centers.

Pay: $28.92 - $42.96

(Pay is determined based on years of experience)

Licensed Practical Nurse Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Pre-Surgical Screening department, you will be responsible for triaging patients to ensure prompt identification of those with high‑risk conditions. You will also play a vital role in clearing patients for surgery by ensuring they meet the requirements established by anesthesia. This will involve performing phone evaluations, conferring with physicians, and scheduling in-person anesthesia evaluations when needed.

This is a work from home role; however, employees are required to be a resident of Washington State and must complete a 4–6-week training period in Olympia, WA.

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited state Board of Nursing program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Washington.
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
