Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Monroe has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic Teacher to join our team. You will supervise children, assist with lesson plans, and help maintain a clean, safe classroom environment while engaging with families in our community.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and being at least 18 years old, plus a pleasant, professional demeanor and reliable collaboration with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Helps and supervises children during all activities.
• Develops, plans, and prepares instructional aids/materials for classroom activities.
• Ensures cleanliness, appearance and safe environment of the classroom.
• Assists with meal times and clean-up.
• Helps with academy and classroom paperwork (daily notes, accident reports, attendance).
• Attends staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested.
• Helps implement classroom lesson plans, programs and schedules.
• Ensures equipment is in good condition and properly used.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helps and supervises children during all activities
• Develops, plans, and prepares instructional aids/materials for classroom activities
• Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained
• Helps children with meal times and clean-up
• Helps with all academy and classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, student accident reports, and attendance reports
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
• Helps implement classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules
• Ensures that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly
• Performs other duties as assigned
