Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho Inc. seeks a Seasonal Full-Time Preschool Support staff member to assist teachers in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

The role includes health checks, developmental screenings, IEP/IFSP support, and dual language development for children aged in early childhood programs. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, a Preschool CDA credential (or CDA in progress within 2 years), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preschool CDA credential required.
• Enrolled in a CDA program to be completed within 2 years or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher with planning and conducting classroom instruction and activities for assigned children.
• Assist in daily health checks of children.
• Assist in developmental screenings and IEPs/IFSPs for children and families.
• Monitor progress of individual children and maintain records and reports.
• Support dual language development in the classroom (English/Spanish).
• Help prepare children for transition into kindergarten and maintain a safe learning environment.
