Rittal, LLC seeks an Associate System Consultant to deliver technical support from pre‑sales through installation. You will analyze customer requirements, illustrate how solutions add value, and configure solutions for successful integration.

The role involves presenting to engineering groups and maintaining relationships with engineering firms. You should have a four-year engineering degree, strong CAD and schematic skills, and the ability to travel up to 30% to meet clients’ needs.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree required (Mechanical or Electrical/Industrial preferred).
• Strong engineering background essential — Electrical or Mechanical.
• Experience reading/creating electrical schematics is required.
• PLC programming experience is preferred.
• Previous experience at an engineering firm is preferred.
• Ability to create drawings/cuts; proficient with CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, EPLAN).
• MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM tools experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify target engineering firms that design or purchase products supplied by Rittal.
• Provide technical support including application assistance, engineering, documentation, and test results.
• Develop long-term relationships with key engineering firms and influencers.
• Deliver technical presentations to engineering groups and prospects.
• Create and share drawings, cuts and technical data with customers and internal teams.
• Travel up to 30% or more depending on business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
