Job summary

Rittal LLC, a leader in industrial enclosures and climate control, is seeking an Associate System Consultant to support the sales team from pre-sales through installation. You will analyze customer requirements, configure technical solutions, and provide the necessary technical transfer to customers.

Applicants should have a 4-year engineering degree and strong experience reading electrical schematics, with CAD skills in Inventor, SolidWorks or EPLAN. Some travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

4-year engineering degree or equivalent required.
Strong engineering background in electrical or mechanical domains.
Experience reading and creating electrical schematics.
PLC programming experience is preferred.
CAD experience with Inventor, SolidWorks or EPLAN.

Responsibilities

Identify and target engineering firms that can supply Rittal products.
Provide technical support including application assistance and documentation.
Develop relationships with engineering firms to win projects.
Deliver technical presentations to engineering groups and prospects.
Ensure AVL status and capture project specifications.
Travel up to 30% or more as required.
