Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior banking technology professional for a hybrid role in Atlanta or Seattle with travel up to 25%. You will lead discovery, design architectures, and build prototypes demonstrating feasibility before delivery.

You’ll translate complex banking challenges into scalable solutions across cloud, data, APIs, and AI, working across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Strong client-facing and technical leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing solution engineering, technical consulting, or product engineering experience.
• Experience building rapid prototypes or accelerators to support client opportunities.
• Strong solution architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Hands-on understanding of APIs, microservices, integration patterns, data platforms, and legacy modernization.
• Applied understanding of AI/ML or GenAI use cases.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior client stakeholders.

Salary - 180-190k base with 15k quarterly bonuses

About the Role

We’re looking for a senior banking technology professional who combines deep financial-services domain knowledge with pre-sales consulting and hands-on solution architecture.

In this role, you’ll work directly with enterprise clients to understand complex business challenges, shape technical solutions, and demonstrate their feasibility before implementation. You’ll partner with account teams throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, lead discovery and technical scoping, define solution architectures, and create prototypes, proofs of concept, demos, and pilots.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who can comfortably move between a client conversation and technical solution design, translating banking challenges into practical, scalable solutions across cloud, data, APIs, integrations, and AI.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for deep expertise in at least one or more areas of banking technology, including:

• Core Banking: Platforms and ecosystems such as FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, Finacle, or Jack Henry
• Deposits & Lending: Account lifecycle, origination, underwriting, servicing, or collections
• Payments & Cards: ACH, wires, RTP, SWIFT, issuing, acquiring, authorization, settlement, or reconciliation
• Retail Banking: Digital banking, branch technology, CRM, and integrations with core platforms
• Banking Data & Modernization: APIs, real-time data, cloud modernization, microservices, and legacy transformation
• Risk & Fraud: Risk technology, transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or AI/ML-enabled solutions

Technical & Pre-Sales Background

• 5+ years of customer-facing solution engineering, technical consulting, or product engineering experience
• Experience building rapid prototypes or accelerators to support client opportunities
• Strong solution architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Hands-on understanding of APIs, microservices, integration patterns, data platforms, and legacy modernization

• 12+ years of combined technology and domain experience
• Consulting or forward-deployed experience
• Experience working in highly regulated or complex legacy environments
• Experience taking solutions from early concept through production
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complex stakeholder environments
