Job summary

Tallahassee State College in Florida is seeking a full-time Pre-Release Employment Navigator for Region 1 (Escambia-Jefferson Counties). You will deliver in-person and virtual workshops on employability and life skills, administer and interpret assessments, and document services delivered while coordinating pre-release connections with community providers and employers.

The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree or a high school diploma with two years of relevant experience in workforce

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or high school diploma) required with two years in workforce development, social services or corrections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provides in-person and virtual facilitation of employability and life skills workshops.
• Administers and interprets assessments and maintains documentation of services.
• Facilitates pre-release connections with community providers and employers for job search, recruitment and placement.
