Job summary

Tallahassee State College is seeking a Pre-Release Employment Navigator in Region 1 (Escambia—Jefferson Counties) for a full-time, grant-funded role. The position reports to the lead educator or Assistant Warden and delivers employability and life-skills workshops in person or virtually.

The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree or a high school diploma with two years in workforce development or corrections, and is proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate’s degree or high school diploma with 2 years of professional experience in workforce development, social services, or corrections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry; strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and virtual facilitation of workshops and training on employability and life skills.
• Administer and interpret assessments; maintain documentation of services delivered.
• Facilitate pre-release connections with community providers and employers for job search, recruitment, and placement.
