Tallahassee State College in Florida is seeking a full-time Pre-Release Employment Navigator for Region 1 (Escambia-Jefferson Counties). You will deliver in-person and virtual workshops on employability and life skills, administer and interpret assessments, and document services delivered while coordinating pre-release connections with community providers and employers.

Please ensure that the location you select is within the vicinity or the location you desire.What You’ll DoAs a Pre-Release Employment Navigator, you will report to the lead educator or Assistant Warden and play a key role in delivering services through cell-front and/or congregate settings. The services provided shall include:Provides in-person and virtual facilitation of workshops and training relative to employability and life skills.Provides administration and interpretation of assessments.Maintains and provides documentation of services delivered.Facilitates pre-release connections with community providers and employers through face-to-face and technology-based interactions to include pre-release job search, recruitment, and placement activities.Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
