You will collaborate with scheduling, financial counseling, and registration staff to minimize wait times and improve the patient experience in outpatient services.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5+ years in Patient Access or Medical Billing.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Obtains and documents details for financial clearance before service.
• Certifies patient demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Sets payment arrangements and deposits; screens for enrollment in credit options.
• Communicates with payers to determine coverage and co-payments.
• Maintains knowledge of payer verification requirements and pre-authorizations.
• Documents information from pre-registration activities and refers underinsured patients to financial staff.
