RoShay Services seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead pre-production initiatives and ensure readiness for new product launches using APQP methodologies. You will drive cross-functional corrective actions, develop inspection criteria with SPC/MSA, and mentor teams in 8D/DMAIC problem-solving while collaborating with suppliers and internal departments to uphold quality standards.

The role requires strong root-cause analysis skills, FMEA review, CAPA management, and proficiency with GD&T

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7-10 years of quality engineering experience.
• Proficiency in statistical software, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision making.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, FMEA, GD&T, and measurement equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee pre-production and product launch readiness, coordinating cross-functional corrective actions.
• Develop and validate inspection criteria using SPC and Measurement System Analysis.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing nonconformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with suppliers and teams.
• Interface with suppliers and internal departments to define quality standards and report performance metrics.
• Mentor team members in problem-solving tools (8D, DMAIC) and quality procedures.
• Review material changes, evaluate technical impacts via FMEA, and communicate findings.
• Lead investigations into field failures, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality documentation.
• Manage nonconformances within CAPA systems and review engineering drawings for accuracy and GD&T compliance.
