Express Print is seeking a Graphic Designer / Pre-Press Specialist with strong knowledge of commercial printing and print-ready artwork preparation. The role blends design with hands-on pre-press tasks to ensure files are production-ready for digital and large-format printing.

Responsibilities include preparing print-ready PDFs, performing preflight checks with PitStop Pro inside Adobe Acrobat Pro, adjusting bleed, trim sizes and color issues, and ensuring fonts are embedded or outlined.

Qualifications

• Professional print-ready PDF files preparation.
• PitStop Pro inside Adobe Acrobat Pro usage.
• Bleed, trim size, margins and page size checks.
• CMYK / RGB / Spot Colour checks.
• Image resolution checks.
• Fonts, embedded fonts and outlined text checks.
• Detect and fix artwork/preflight errors.
• Overprint, transparency and colour separation checks.
• Add or correct bleed.
• Resize artwork to final printing size.
• Prepare cutting lines / die-cut paths.
• Preflight client artwork before production.
• Ensure files are ready for digital and large-format printing.
• Identify printing problems before files are sent for production.
