Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
• CPR certification (BLS) at hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care during the critical period following anesthesia and invasive procedures.
• Apply the nursing process and coordinate support services.
• Delegate to and evaluate subordinate staff.
• Document significant changes in a patient’s condition.
• Educate patients on illness and the effects of lifestyle including diet, activity, smoking and weight loss.
• Manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
