Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Research Grant Specialist II to manage pre- and post-award activities for federal and non-federal grants. You will coordinate with principal investigators, ensure compliance, and prepare financial reports and narratives for funding agencies.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced academic research environment. Strong knowledge of NIH/CFDA guidelines is preferred.

Formación

• Three years of experience administering research grants or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with major funding guidelines.
• Experience with multi-PI proposals and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of budget tracking and expense reconciliation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit federal and non-federal grants with principal investigators.
• Serve as liaison between research groups and funds administration.
• Perform pre- and post-award administrative functions and document routing for signature.
• Monitor grant accounts, track expenses, and generate financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, IRB, and institutional policies.
• Maintain Time & Effort reporting and perform budget corrections as needed.
• Identify opportunities for additional funding and assist with budgets for trials.
• Handle multiple tasks with tight timelines and prioritize effectively.
