Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Senior Research Administrator to provide full pre- and post-award research administration for the division. You will manage a diverse portfolio of intra- and extramural awards, from proposal development and award management to financial oversight, sponsor reporting, and compliance monitoring.

The role supports investigators with NIH F-, K-, and R-series grants and private foundation funding, working closely with leadership to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong writing skills and knowledge of grant funding processes.
• Experience with complex financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide full pre- and post-award research administration for faculty.
• Manage a portfolio of intra- and extramurally funded awards.
• Oversee proposal development, award management, financial oversight, sponsor reporting, and compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with the Division Chair, CAO, CFO and other leaders.
• Support NIH F-, K-, and R-series grants and private foundation funding.
• Prepare and review budgets and financial projections.
