Job summary

The Sewell Family of Companies seeks an Automotive Reconditioning Technician for Ford Lincoln to inspect, diagnose, and recondition vehicles for pre-owned sales. You will manage repair orders, coordinate with parts, perform tests, and ensure any safety or service work meets dealership and factory standards while maintaining a clean, safe shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Background and drug screening.
• Ability to multitask.
• Combination of education, experience and training considered.

Responsibilities

• Recondition vehicles for pre-owned sales.
• Receive repair orders from the dispatcher.
• Perform work efficiently and accurately by dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Road-test vehicles when necessary.
• Keep the shop area neat and account for dealership-owned tools.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents.
