Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group seeks an Automotive Pre-Owned Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. The role includes a tiered pay plan and longevity bonus with opportunities across multiple technician levels.

We welcome Technicians, Trainees and Apprentices and offer a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires a valid driver’s license and flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to ask questions and listen to determine requirements.
• Follow directions from supervisors and adhere to procedures.

• Maintain confidentiality policies and agreements.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders per dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Tag and return parts if under warranty or upon customer request.
• Inform service advisor of additional work or changes as needed.
• Document all work performed and results.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs address customer concerns.
