Job summary

The Kali Hotel & Rooftop, Autograph Collection, opening in Southern California, seeks a Senior Sales Manager to drive pre-opening and early-operation revenue. You will build the foundational account base, develop relationships with corporate, group, entertainment and sports clients, and close profitable business across events, meetings and hospitality experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will work across Revenue Management, Marketing and F&B to maximize total account

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality sales experience in lifestyle, luxury or full-service hotel environments is required.
• Proven success in proactive prospecting, new account acquisition, negotiation and closing.
• Strong portfolio management and achievement of sales goals.
• Experience with group, corporate and entertainment/event sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, solicit, qualify, negotiate and close new business with direct clients, corporate accounts, meeting planners, and intermediaries.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of accounts aligned with markets and hotel needs.
• Build a strong pipeline for near-term and long-term opportunities; track activity in sales systems.
• Travel for outside sales calls, client meetings, and events as needed.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing and hotel leadership to maximize total account value.
