The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00–$27.00 and emphasizes reliability, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• EMR experience, Athena preferred.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work under HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Obtain referrals/pre-certification of procedures.
• Schedule required labs, radiology exams, and cardiac workups.
• Confirm clearances and consents are in order.
• Fax required documentation to OR and confirm receipt.
• Finalize schedule and arrange special requirements (e.g., equipment).
• Coordinate with providers and patients, following proper conflict resolution procedures.
• Communicate with patients while adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
