Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for Perioperative (Pre-Admission Testing/Pre-Op) in Tacoma for a 13-week contract. The role involves supporting surgical patients with pre-procedure assessments and coordinating readiness for surgery and anesthesia.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in Pre-Admission/Pre-Op, an active RN license, BLS, and Epic experience, with strong documentation and communication. Fast-paced call-center environment; no weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Pre-Admission Testing, Pre-Anesthesia, or true Pre-Op.
• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Epic experience.
• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable multitasking.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedure assessments to support surgical patients.
• Review charts and assess readiness for surgery and anesthesia.
• About 9 patient calls completed daily.
• Review medications, hold times, NPO instructions, skin preparation, arrival instructions, and risk assessments.
• Capable of managing multiple technology platforms and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate pre-procedure instructions clearly.
