Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PreOp and PostOp (PACU) specialty. The unit consists of 60 beds with a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio, covering PreOp and Phase II recovery. CNs collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia to ensure smooth patient transitions.

The RN will work 12-hour shifts in a 13-week assignment, with 12-hour days, on-call requirements, and EPIC-based documentation. Illinois licensure and BLS/ACLS are mandatory, with cardiac experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation of application in progress.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• EPIC experience; Optime/ClientNT experience preferred.
• Cardiac care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for PreOp and Phase II PACU.
• Monitor and stabilize patients, respond to changes in condition.
• Maintain patient safety, charting, and communication with team.
• Documentation in EPIC and related modules.
