Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery is seeking a full-time Pre Admission RN in Vancouver, WA. The role conducts telephone preadmission assessments, collects medical history, and coordinates with anesthesia to ensure readiness for surgery.

The position starts onsite, with a transition to a hybrid schedule; it requires RN license in Washington, a nursing degree, and experience in preadmission or PACU settings. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• Associate or BS Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Washington State RN License.
• One year Pre Admission, Pre or Post PACU experience.
• Epic Experience.
• Must have good assessment skills.
• Good communication skills, positive attitude with good team-building skills.
• Oral/written communication, analysis/problem solving, medical terminology, teaching patients/families about procedures, and knowledge of nursing practices; ability to practice in multidisciplinary team.
• Must be adaptable and willing to complete other tasks as assigned.

Mansioni

• Practice appropriate telephone and patient triage skills, being aware of the need to balance quality care with efficient use of time and resources.
• Perform verbal assessment with the patient prior to admission via telephone and communicating information to appropriate team members
• Assess pertinent information and document
• Respond to telephone inquiries regarding expressed needs of the caller
• Thoroughly document all call encounters utilizing manual and/or online information systems at the time of the call
• Alert anesthesia of special needs of individual with medical problems prior to date of surgery
• Use effective communication techniques which adhere to common standards of courtesy
• Answer inquiries in a timely and helpful manner
• Communicate arrival time and NPO instructions to patients as prescribed.
