Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse RN in Pre-Op to join a PRN Day shift team. The nurse provides safe, competent nursing care following facility policies and patient-centered care principles.

Emphasis on leadership, service excellence, communication, and teamwork across units. Qualified candidates will hold an active Florida or Compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS/NRP/PALS as required by units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Manometry experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• ACLS required for all units; NRP for Women’s Center; NIH for ICU/PCU; PALS/CPI for ER; PALS for PACU.
