Job summary

True Precision Medical in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU to prepare patients for surgery, monitor during anesthesia recovery, and ensure safe discharge. The role requires an AZ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PACU/acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted AZ RN license or multi-state compact license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 1 year of PACU/pre-op or acute-care experience.
• Strong assessment, IV-start, med administration, and emergency-response skills.
• Proficient in EMR and clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication, organization, teamwork, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative nursing assessments and review histories and requirements.
• Verify patient identity, procedure, consent, NPO, and readiness.
• Document baseline vitals and clinical information.
• Start IVs and administer medications/fluids per orders.
• Monitor airway, breathing, circulation, and pain in PACU.
• Determine discharge readiness and provide instructions.
• Document actions and patient responses in EMR.
