Job summary

Roswell Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Pre Op/PACU RN for a full-time position in our outpatient surgery center in Roswell, GA. This role supports patients from pre-op through PACU and helps the surgical team ensure safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds an active GA RN license with BLS/ACLS, and PACU or critical care experience is preferred. Strong nursing judgment and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients, with continual evaluation of condition, safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge.

PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse at Center/Hospital Name

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
