Qualifications

• 1+ year QA/food safety experience in meat processing or value-added food processing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP.
• HACCP Certified within six months.

Responsibilities

• Verify sanitation performance via monitoring of Sanitation GMPs, conducting pre-operational inspections and swabbing equipment.
• Take over FSQA checks to allow fellow technicians to go home in a timely manner.
• Inform Sanitation Manager/FSQA Director daily about problems encountered during shift.
• Prepare swabs for shipment to the lab and for environmental testing.
• Record environmental testing data and trend in the database.
