Job summary

Nspproteins is seeking a Production Lead for the 2nd shift in Owasso, OK to oversee a production line. You will lead a team, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with maintenance and QA to meet daily goals.

You will train staff on meat handling, GMP/HACCP compliance, and keep accurate production records while maintaining a climate-controlled, high-standard environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years leadership experience in a meat processing facility or similar field.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles and food safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a production line team, assigning tasks and maintaining staffing.
• Train employees on meat handling, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and address issues as they arise.
• Oversee production line operations to meet schedules and production goals.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA and logistics to ensure smooth flow.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging and quality checks of finished products.
