Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Owasso, OK is seeking a Pre-Op Micro Technician to support sanitation in line with SSOPs and GMPs.

You will perform pre-operational inspections, swab equipment, and assist with FSQA checks and sample shipment while maintaining accurate records. The role requires 1+ year in QA/food safety within meat or value-added processing, strong HACCP/GMP/SSOP knowledge, and HACCP certification within six months.

Qualifications

• 1+ year QA/food safety experience in meat or value-added processing.
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Systems including HACCP, GMP, SSOP.
• HACCP certification within six months.
• Must be self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of prerequisite programs.
• Ability to maintain concentration during tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verify sanitation performance via monitoring of Sanitation GMPs, conducting pre-operational inspections and swabbing equipment.
• Take over FSQA checks to allow others to leave on time.
• Keep Sanitation Manager/FSQA Director informed of daily issues.
• Prepare swabs for lab shipment (SARFs) and for environmental testing.
• Record environmental testing data and trend in database; organize paperwork.
• Document review and ensure checklists are updated and accurate.
• Record data and graph trends using MS Excel and other software.
