Job summary

Proliance Surgeons, Inc. Edmonds Center for Outpatient Surgery in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to act as a patient care coordinator and advocate, maintain clinical supplies, and ensure smooth patient flow and experience.

You will follow OSHA/WISHA guidelines and support pre-operative duties in a busy ASC. Location: Edmonds, WA; Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; Hours: 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred, but training provided.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification preferred, but not required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care and maintain patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms, instruments and maintain supplies; sterilize instruments.
• Document encounters and ensure accurate patient health records.
• Perform phone triage, post‑op calls, and respond to messages within 24 hours.
• Coordinate care and diagnostic testing as indicated by physician.
• Maintain equipment and ensure supplies are stocked and in place.
