Job summary

Service Corporation International in Indianapolis is seeking a Pre-Planning Advisor to grow pre-need sales by building trusted relationships with families and communities. You will present planning guides, follow up for referrals, and work from home or in the field to meet quotas with professionalism and care.

You’ll prospect, network, and educate families about options, collaborating with funeral home staff to ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or 1–2 years in the industry, or equivalent education.
• Previous CRM experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and technology skills in a sales environment.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and energy.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: consistently network and build relationships for referrals for both at-need cemetery and pre-need arrangements.
• Prospect a minimum of 4 hours daily (when working 8 hours) through face-to-face outreach, events, or seminars.
• Obtain referrals from families served by following up through visits.
• Network and build community relationships.
