Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active CA Bar admission.
• 1+ year of experience handling pre-litigation personal injury matters.
• Demonstrated negotiation success with insurers and defense counsel.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency reviewing medical and billing records to evaluate damages.
• Excellent organization and case management with CMS and document systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct investigations and review medical records, police reports and evidence.
• Prepare demand letters, settlement packages, and supporting documentation.
• Negotiate with insurers, defense counsel, and third parties for settlements.
• Communicate case status and options to clients regularly.
• Collaborate with experts, medical providers, and vendors to support claims.
• Identify cases needing escalation to litigation and coordinate handoffs to litigators.
