Job summary

The Ward Law Group, P.L. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a litigation support team in New York.

You will oversee daily department operations and drive process improvements to ensure timely, accurate settlement reductions with compliance across the firm. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in medical lien reductions in plaintiff PI, 3+ years leading a team, bilingual English/Spanish, and familiarity with Litify or similar systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in medical lien reductions and hospital negotiations.
• 3+ years leading or managing a legal team in a Plaintiff Personal Injury firm.
• Experience with Litify or a comparable legal case management system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily department operations, workflow, and productivity to ensure timely case resolution.
• Review and assist with complex hospital, medical provider, and lien negotiations.
• Monitor departmental performance, quality, and turnaround times while implementing process improvements.
• Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership to resolve escalated matters and improve operational performance.
• Review settlement documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with firm policies, attorney direction, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, train, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
