Kenny Habetz Injury Law in Metairie, LA seeks an experienced Pre-Litigation Case Manager to independently handle a full pre-litigation caseload from intake through demand. You will transition with the pod into litigation, learning pleadings, discovery, and trial prep while maintaining strong pre-litigation foundations.

As part of a collaborative, on-site team, you will coordinate treatment, gather records, draft settlement demands, and communicate clearly with clients and attorneys to move cases

Qualifications

• Three or more years managing personal injury pre-litigation files from initial contact through demand.
• Strong working knowledge of medical records and billing and policy limits influence case strategy.
• Proficiency with case management software, especially SmartAdvocate, and ability to learn new tech quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a full caseload with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients and maintain consistent communication throughout their case.
• Guide clients through pre-litigation from intake to settlement demand.
• Coordinate treatment, gather authorizations, and advise on settlement-related decisions.
• Maintain organized case files and verify medical records and billing.
• Prepare settlement demands and interact with insurance adjusters for resolution.
• Collaborate with attorneys and teammates to move cases forward in a pod setting.
• As the pod transitions, learn pleadings, discovery and trial preparation.
