Socket.dev is seeking a Pre-Litigation Manager in Louisiana to lead the pre-litigation team and manage a small caseload while ensuring efficient file movement and high-quality demand packages. You will oversee standards, performance reviews, and client communication, partnering with attorneys to shape strategy and filings.

The role emphasizes process improvement, reporting, and seamless handoffs to litigation or settlement coordination, with a strong focus on timely care and client experience

Qualifications

• 4+ years in personal injury pre-litigation case management
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Strong command of medical records, treatment coordination and demand preparation
• Knowledge of Louisiana prescription periods and insurance issues
• Excellent written communication, particularly in demand writing
• Experience managing performance and accountability

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-litigation case management team with workload assignment and capacity planning
• Set standards for client contact, file hygiene and movement; monitor adherence
• Train new case managers and design training paths
• Conduct regular performance reviews and address issues promptly
• Collaborate with attorneys on case valuation and negotiation strategy
• Quality control: audits, review of demand packages, aging reports, and referrals to litigation
