Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist in Taft, California, to provide individual and group counseling and promote client independence and family empowerment. The role emphasizes recovery-oriented, client-centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field and holds AMFT, APCC, or ACSW registration with at least two years of mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration as Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and/or outpatient).
• Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities
