Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; or have 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a C or better; or hold an Associate’s Degree or higher.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing educational materials for students.
• Work individually with students and/or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, and grading quizzes as assigned.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining bulletin boards and learning centers.
