Immaculate Conception School in Towson, MD, is seeking a full-time Pre-K Instructional Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role supports teachers in a classroom, prepares materials, and aids with individual or small-group instruction to young learners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Elementary Education and/or 90-hour childcare certification preferred.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• Must be an active practicing Catholic.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Prepare age-appropriate materials.
• Help organize and prepare resources for students.
• Help in integrating technology to create 21st-century learning environments (ISTE Standards).
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, students and parents to support student progress.
• Ensure safety and active supervision of students at all times and manage the classroom.
• Participate in faculty meetings, retreats, school committees and in-service learning.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with parents.
