Job summary

St. John Catholic School in Westminster, Maryland, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time PreK Instructional Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role provides classroom support, materials preparation, and one-on-one assistance as needed to keep young learners engaged. Qualifications

• Part-time PreK Instructional Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• Must be an active practicing Catholic.
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Prepare age-appropriate materials.
• Help organize and prepare resources for students.
• Assist with integrating technology to support ISTE standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, students and parents to support progress.
• Ensure safety and active supervision of students at all times.
• Participate in faculty meetings, retreats, school committees and in-service learning.
• Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with parents.
