Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing materials and equipment for instructional activities.
• Examine unit plans and anticipate needed supplies and materials.
• Lead small group activities planned by the teacher.
• Assist in adapting curriculum for diverse learners and needs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom and manage records as directed.
• Assist in supervising students and enforcing classroom rules.
• Support school staff and maintain confidentiality.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; No Child Left Behind Act requirements (Title I) understood

Two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester hours) or Associate’s or higher degree; WorkKeys passing scores
