Job summary

Randolph Public School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Pre-K Inclusion Paraprofessional to support students in the integrated preschool program at JFK. The position begins 10/13/26 and runs through approximately 12/11/26, offering on-site work at $29 per hour with full-time status.

The paraprofessional will assist the classroom teacher, help students with basic academic and life skills, and support safe, structured instruction under CPI training when available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; experience with young children with developmental delays preferred; ABA or autism experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the educational program and help in classroom management, lesson planning, and recording of student data, as requested.
• Facilitate students’ travel from classroom activities and appointments by giving specific directions and monitoring independent travel.
• Participate in staff and /or unit meetings as appropriate.
• Monitor all activities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and inform the teacher of any problems, conflicts and/or issues.
• Work cooperatively with administrative and nursing staff to ensure that program activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner.
• Actively participate in program and professional development activities in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Work with students to implement program goals and objectives.
• Maintain professional standards and practices.
