Job summary

Lincoln Public Schools' Lincoln Preschool is seeking an Inclusion Preschool Support Paraprofessional for the Hanscom Campus for the 2026-2027 school year.

The position is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, starting August 28, 2026, with benefits eligibility under the Middlesex County Retirement System. The role provides direct services to students under supervision and follows IEPs and classroom guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supports students during small and large groups times to engage in educational and social interactions.
• Leads the class and/or small groups in activities.
• Provides direct support to individuals and small groups of students based on Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Under the direction of the classroom teacher or special education liaison, modifies and adapts instruction according to a student’s IEP.
• Monitors student progress, records performance data, and communicates such to the classroom teacher.
• Assist students in completing activities of daily living.
• Prepares instruction materials according to teacher guidelines.
• Promotes appropriate social interaction and behavioral compliance for students, including implementing behavior plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
