Esd113 is seeking a Pre-K Assistant to support the classroom teacher and help deliver instructional activities in a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools setting. The role involves supervising students, preparing materials, and assisting with assessment and classroom organization under supervision.

The position requires a CDA credential or progress toward one, an associate degree or higher, and the ability to obtain a CBC. It is a 9-month, hourly schedule position based in CMS facilities.

Qualifications

• Hold or be working toward CDA credential.
• Associate degree or equivalent in childcare/early education per CMS policy.
• Legal ability to obtain Criminal Background Check (CBC).

Responsibilities

• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in various school areas.
• Prepare lesson materials and classroom displays.
• Support instruction under teacher guidance and monitor student progress.
• Participate in daily transportation duties as required.
