Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada seeks a Pre-K Teacher Aide to support a lead teacher in delivering age-appropriate, standards-based instruction at the Early Childhood Learning Center in Las Vegas. The role emphasizes a safe, inclusive classroom that fosters positive student learning.

Responsibilities include assisting with Nevada Pre-K standards, lesson planning, and collaboration with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in education field or Nevada Registry Level 2+.
• Requires 1,000 hours of direct Pre-K/Early Childhood experience.
• CPR/AED certificate preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment that promotes learning.
• Assist with the implementation of the Nevada Pre-K Standards.
• Assist with daily and long-range lesson plans using research-based strategies.
• Collaborate with administrators, other staff, parents/guardians, and community.
• Assist with student reporting and maintaining student records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
