Job summary

Foundations Early Learning & Family Center is seeking a Pre-K Teacher’s Aide to support classroom instruction by assisting the teachers. You will rotate between classrooms, lead groups, supervise play, prepare materials, and maintain clean, organized environments.

Candidates must be at least 19, have a high school diploma or GED, pass a background check, and embrace Christian preschool education with a heart for underserved communities and a love for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Submit to background check.
• Have a heart for underserved communities and be willing to participate in ongoing training.
• Have a love for the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Be committed to Christian pre-school education for children and their families.
• Have experience working in early childhood or experience in other approved setting (recommended but not required).

Responsibilities

• Follow the schedule for rotating between classrooms as assigned.
• Assist teachers during program activities such as leading groups or one-on-one time.
• Monitor, assist, and lead children during indoor and outdoor play, meals and snack time, and field trips.
• Know and consistently carry out all classroom systems and reinforce school-appropriate behavior.
• Assist with bathroom breaks and preparation of instructional materials; maintain clean environments.
• Communicate with the children about the Lord while following Foundations guidelines.
• Be ready and willing to assist with office tasks as requested by the HoS.
