Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a dedicated Pre-K Teacher Assistant to support teachers and families in a warm, home-like setting for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines. No evenings or weekends. Paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service skills are necessary.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and promotes growth.
• Interact with children to encourage involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
